The primary goal of the 4-H Cloverbudy program is to promote children's healthy development-mentally, physically, socially and emotionally. 

The program allows for and ecourages creativity and learning through play.

The 4-h Cloverbudy program is developmentally age appropriate, therefore it is:

  • Fun
  • Leader directed
  • Non-competitive
  • Success oriented
  • Group-centered learning
  • Wide range of activities (crafts, cooking, and more!)
  • Positive


  • Must be 5 years old or in kindergarten by January 1st of the program year.
  • Home schooled children are to enroll based on their chronological age as of January 1.


Cloverbuds meet once a month at the Taylor County Extension Office.

Meetings are held in the evenings and parents are required to attend their their child and may participate in the activities as well.

Meetings are generally held the first Monday of the month.

Snacks are provided at each meeting and each meeting will have new topics/lessons/activities then previous meetings.
